Why do we offer Opera Developer?
We’re constantly working on new ideas, everything from big, innovative features to small quality-of-life improvements. Before anything becomes part of the Opera browser, it goes through several rounds of testing. Most of that happens behind the scenes, but once something is ready, we share it publicly so it can be tested in the real world and shaped by user feedback.
That’s what Opera Developer is all about. It gives you an early look at the latest changes while they’re still being built. Just as importantly, it lets us work closely with our users to fine-tune new features and make sure they meet real expectations and needs.
