The forecast is an average based on four models that incorporate U.S. GDP, U.S. Leading Index, Texas Leading Index, WTI oil prices, COVID-19 fixed effects and COVID-19 hospitalizations. Updates to the Texas Employment Forecast follow the Texas Workforce Commission’s Labor Market Information release schedule.
