Together, we are expanding our understanding of the biology that controls human aging and devising interventions that enable people to lead longer and healthier lives.  Some of our collaborators include: Since 2014, the collaboration between Calico and AbbVie has produced a number of drug development programs, with multiple assets advanced into clinical trials, including potential treatments for neurological conditions. Calico is now independently moving these clinical programs forward. Since 2015, Calico and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard have partnered to investigate the biology and genetics of aging and pursue early-stage drug discovery. Through our collaborative work, we have made progress across a number of programs including the co-development of a novel PTPN2/N1 inhibitor now in clinical trials. Through a joint project between Calico, the UK Biobank, and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, we are analyzing tens of thousands of MRI scans and genetic data to create the world’s largest longitudinal imaging dataset to assess disease progression. All findings from his collaboration will be publicly available to support global scientific progress.
