Fiona Harding, Ph.D.
Senior Principal Investigator
Fiona studies the mechanisms and processes underlying the generation and maintenance of tumor specific immune responses.
About
Fiona’s research on tumor specific immunity includes adaptive immune response initiation, antigen processing and presentation within the Class I compartment, the manipulation of tumor-directed innate responses, and the impact of aging on immune responses.
After her postdoctoral work characterizing CD28 costimulation with Dr. James Allison, Fiona began conducting research within the biopharmaceutical and biomedical industries. Her professional accomplishments include the characterization of the original HuMab mouse, the development of a human primary cell in vitro screening method to identify peptide epitopes from novel proteins, and the preclinical selection and development of monoclonal antibody therapeutics for immuno-oncology
