Our mission is said simply, yet it is quite ambitious. Calico is working to better understand the biology of aging and using those insights to advance foundational discoveries into potential medicines that enable people to lead longer and healthier lives.
We integrate basic research, advanced computational biology and machine learning, and drug development to move discovery toward clinical impact. To find answers requires a long-term perspective, a relentless focus on scientific rigor, and the development of new technologies to help us interpret complex biological data at scale.
Our progress is charted in high-quality publications, our many collaborations and the expanding pipeline of early- and clinical-stage compounds that target diseases commonly linked with aging.
