A visually branded calendar embed matches the look of your website - using your colors, fonts, and style - rather than looking like a generic third-party widget.
Key branding elements in a calendar embed
Color palette The header, event dot colors, today highlight, and button colors should use your brand's primary and accent colors. Most calendar embed tools provide a color picker or CSS variables to control these.
Typography The calendar font should match or closely complement your website's typeface. Embedding a calendar in a custom font requires either CSS injection or a tool that uses system fonts that complement your design.
Event categories with custom colors Color-coding event categories (e.g., blue for webinars, orange for in-person events) creates visual hierarchy and helps visitors quickly scan what type of event is coming up.
No third-party branding On free tiers, most calendar embed tools display their own logo or "Powered by..." label. Removing this is usually a paid-plan feature. For a truly branded experience, remove all third-party labels.
Consistent button style The "Add to Calendar" or "Follow Calendar" button within the embed should match your site's button design - same border radius, font weight, and color treatment as other buttons on the page.
Custom CSS For pixel-perfect branding, look for a calendar embed tool that allows custom CSS injection. This lets you override any default styles to match your brand identity exactly.
