How do I integrate Add to Calendar links in Mailchimp?

Adding Add to Calendar links to Mailchimp emails takes about two minutes - copy the link from AddEvent and paste it into your Mailchimp template as a hyperlink or button.
Step-by-step
In your AddEvent dashboard, open your event and go to Sharing
Copy the Add to Calendar link - the universal link lets each recipient choose their calendar app (Google, Apple, Outlook, Yahoo)
In Mailchimp, open your email campaign or template in the drag-and-drop editor
To add a text link: highlight the text you want to link (e.g., "Add to Calendar"), click the link icon, and paste the AddEvent URL
To add a button: drag in a Button block, set the label to "Add to Calendar", and paste the AddEvent URL as the destination
Save and send yourself a test to confirm the link opens correctly
Linking to specific calendar apps
AddEvent also provides separate links for individual calendar services - Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Office 365, and Yahoo. You can include all of them as separate links in your email, or use the universal link to let each recipient choose. Most teams use the universal link to keep the email clean.
For personalized events (unique date per subscriber)
If each subscriber has a different appointment or event time, use AddEvent's Dynamic Add to Calendar links. Build the AddEvent dynamic URL in your Mailchimp template using merge tags to populate the event date, time, and description for each recipient. This requires the AddEvent Enterprise plan.
Tips
AddEvent links work with all Mailchimp plan tiers - no special integration or API connection needed
The link also works in Mailchimp automations and transactional emails via Mandrill
Always test with a real send - Mailchimp's link tracking wraps all URLs, but AddEvent links redirect correctly through the wrapper
