Does MailPoet store the data of the user's subscribers?
We do not store or keep any data from your subscribers. However, if you're sending with us, we do process all the emails to be sent. It means MailPoet only logs email addresses to ensure that our service runs effectively. We do not track anything else.

Is MailPoet GDPR compliant?

We apparently needed to upgrade due to volume, however, volume didn't change. We upgraded once, then we had to update another thing so that it would function. The upgrade didn't work, took too long. We reached out to MailPoet. Zero response. We ended up upgrading three times in total within an hour, had to wait for some magic behind the scenes to happen before our email could be sent. In all we were billed three times over for the same month and it's set to renew again in 15 days. Sounds like an audit is necessary. Ridiculous.

Thank you for sharing your experience — we're sorry to hear the upgrade process caused so much confusion, especially when you were trying to get emails out. We've reviewed your account in detail. What happened is that missed renewals triggered a cancellation, which required a fresh review of your new purchases when you reactivated — this is what led to the multiple steps you experienced, rather than a system error or duplicate billing. On the billing side, we want to be transparent: we were unable to find any duplicate charges or overages on your account. Monthly plans renew each month as part of the subscription you signed up for, and yours is currently set to renew on May 29th. We complete...

This is a big improvement over Mailchimp because it all happens within the WooCommerce admin area. You don't have to go to another site and figure out a whole other world of methods. The hiccup is that it prevents sending PDF product vouchers and PDF invoices as email attachments.
