Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one. You can identify which user management experience you have by checking where your Users page is located. We’ll note these changes in the support documentation below. Centralized Original In Atlassian Administration, Users is located in Directory. In Atlassian Administration, Users is located in the {site} you select within Apps. When you delete a customer, they won't be able to log in to your Jira Service Management help centers to raise requests and view articles. You can't restore a customer once they have been deleted. If you think you’ll need this customer at another point in the future, we suggest you revoke access instead. To delete a customer: This procedure is different depending on your user management experience. If you have the centralized user management: Who can do this? Role: Organization admin Atlassian Cloud: Jira Service Management (all plans) Atlassian Government Cloud: Available Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one.. Select Apps from the header. Under Sites and products, select the site that contains Jira Service Management. Under the Jira Service Management section on the nav bar, select Portal-only customers. Next to the customer you want to delete, select (More option) > Delete customer. Select Delete to confirm. If you have the original user management: Who can do this? Role: Organization admin, site admin Atlassian Cloud: Jira Service Management (all plans) Go to Atlassian Administration. Select your organization if you have more than one. Select the site's name and URL. Select Jira Service Management. Find the customer you want to delete and select (More option) > Delete customer. Select Delete to confirm.Delete customer consequences The customer will be completely wiped out hence losing access to the site’s portals. The customer won't be searchable and selectable in user-picker fields. The customer’s name will show up as Former user (Deactivated) in user-picker fields that were previously filled with their name: 4. The customer isn't searchable in any filter. 5. No reference is kept on the account's email address. If the same customer is re-invited to the instance in the future it will be a brand new portal-only customer account without any correlation with the previously existing account.
