Our CTO, Suthen Thomas Paradatheth, has one rule for the AI era… 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻. AI can now write in seconds what used to take an engineer hours. But faster code isn't the same as better code. Someone still has to own it, question it, and catch the thing that looks wrong before it goes out the door. That part is still ours. So instead of asking our engineers to do less, we asked them to work differently, and translated that into four simple shifts in our engineering workflow: 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘁𝘀 We define clear tasks for agents to take on and execute, instead of letting them fish around for answers. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘁𝘀 We keep data clean and connected, so our independent systems can work together reliably. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 We expand our checking processes with automated testings and decide what actually matters before production. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 Before we send anything off, we do a final vet and sign off on it. And that’s how we’re building with AI at Grab 🤖🤝 #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Engineering #TechLeadership #FutureOfWork

Supported through the GrabForGood Fund and implemented with World Vision International Cambodia, this initiative will improve access to quality healthcare for children, families and the wider community. With seven specialised rooms for services including emergency care, surgery and health monitoring, the new facility will strengthen local healthcare support where it matters most. Real progress isn't flashy. It's a ride that shows up on time, or a small business that grows a little easier. That's the belief Anthony Tan carried into the AI for Good Global Commission. Excited to have his voice representing that at a global table 💚
I’ve joined the AI for Good Global Commission as a founding member. I hope to bring a pragmatic view from building in Southeast Asia, where the most impactful AI isn’t always the most sophisticated. Often, it’s the practical, everyday technology that helps a small business grow or makes a delivery route safer for a driver. Global AI frameworks must serve all, meaning it must also solve for the economic realities of the developing world. My thanks to President Paul Kagame, Marc Benioff, and ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin for bringing together a diverse group of leaders, comprising Heads of State, industry CEOs, and Heads of UN agencies. This Commission will offer a truly global view of how AI can be responsibly used to solve real-world challenges.

You can’t build a meaningful solution if you don’t understand the problem first—and you definitely can’t build it alone. The Grab the Future Hackathon 2026 has officially wrapped up. What started with nearly 600 applications came down to an intensive 36-hour innovation sprint, where youth-led teams pushed past surface-level ideas to build functional prototypes tackling real-world urban challenges. Throughout the journey—from the pre-hackathon masterclasses to the final pitch night—participants dug deep into what it takes to build inclusive, sustainable cities: • Understanding the root cause: Early on, teams sharpened their problem statements through inclusion and innovation workshops with Dinh-Long Pham (UNDP in Asia and the Pacific), root-cause analysis with Giang Nguyen (Pebbles), and a fireside chat on sustainable development with Thang Truong, Le Thanh Hai, Tran Thi Ngoc Hieu, Jonathan Ritchie, and Jessie S.T. Cheung. • Building with purpose: Tech sessions led by Hieu Nguyen Qui (Principal Data Engineer at Grab) guided teams on how to apply data, digital platforms, and responsible AI in practical, safe, and meaningful ways. • The Final Sprint: Teams worked around the clock with mentors across tech, sustainability, business, and public policy to turn concepts into reality. Huge congratulations to our three winning teams who stood out for their practical focus on circular consumption and accessibility: 🏆 First Prize: GreenCart – an AI-integrated marketplace connecting consumers with near-expiry products to reduce urban waste. 🥈 Second Prize: CLB Mất ngủ (with RideNow) – helping visually impaired users navigate ride-hailing services more independently. 🥉 Third Prize: Team Panikotta (with OpenPath) – providing real-time accessibility information to support people with mobility difficulties. A massive thank you to all the participants, trainers, mentors, judges, and partners for your energy, late nights, and sharp thinking. This was a powerful reminder that good solutions rarely start with technology alone—they start with people who care enough to solve the right problems. #GrabTheFuture2026 #DigitalInnovation #YouthInnovation #SustainableCities #ResponsibleAI #Grab #UNDP

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲! 💚 We recently hosted the Parent Grabbers Workshop on the topic of "Raising Smart & Well-Behaved Kids," led by the Director from Shichida. Our team absolutely loved the session, finding the practical insights incredibly useful and perfectly tailored to their needs. It was wonderful to welcome not just current parents (and their spouses!), but also couples who are planning for the future. Grabbers well-being is always one of our key priorities especially Grabbers as the parents. #LifeAtGrab #EmployeeWellbeing #WorkingParents #ShichidaMethod #CompanyCulture #ParentsAtGrab

Small business owners are experts at what they do. They shouldn’t need a data team to make smarter decisions. That’s why our team at Grab built the AI Merchant Assistant — an in-app product that turns operational and transactional data into simple, actionable recommendations for merchants. Embedded in the GrabMerchant app, it helps merchants improve sales, update menus, and run promotions in their native language — without having to decode dashboards or dig through data themselves. Behind that experience is a growing system that transforms complex business signals into decision-ready intelligence at scale. And this is only the beginning: soon, merchants will also receive personalised financing guidance and other tailored business recommendations. With 1 in 4 merchant-partners already actively using the AI Merchant Assistant, we’re building for real adoption and real impact. If you’re a Data Engineer or Product Engineer who wants to build the systems and experiences that make data useful for millions of businesses, we’re hiring. Democratise data for millions. This is the longest carousel we’ve ever posted… Because we teamed up with Kiehl's Since 1851 to celebrate our women delivery-partners making history in the Malaysia Book of Records 🇲🇾 The official milestone? 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆-𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝘆 But this wasn't just about setting a record. It’s 100 women who brave the road daily, coming together to remind each other (and the world!) they're not doing it alone 💚 #Grab #WomenEmpowerment #GrabForGood #Malaysia

💚 14 Years of Impact, Innovation, and Heart: Happy Anniversary, Grab! 💚 What does 14 years of driving Southeast Asia forward look like? It looks like millions of lives touched, communities empowered, and a vibrant team across the region that continues to push boundaries every single day. To celebrate Grab’s 14th Anniversary, our offices came alive with incredible energy, reflecting the very core of our company culture. Across all locations, Grabbers participated in our interactive 4H Roadshow, bringing our core values—Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility—to life through gamified learning and high-energy activities. But true to our hyper-local roots, each country added its own unique flavor and heart to the celebrations: 🎉 Unstoppable Energy & Community Spirit across our offices. From Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Romania, we brought the ultimate Grab energy to life! With packed photobooths and endless food and interactive games, the atmosphere was a testament to the passion and camaraderie that defines our regional family. ✨ Deepening Connections & Cultural Pride In China, the anniversary coincided with the Dragon Boat Festival, blending traditional cultural festivities with our roadshow to create an incredibly warm, festive, and inclusive atmosphere on-site. 🩸 Living Our Values Through Giving Back True to our 4H value of Heart, Grabbers in Indonesia and India rolled up their sleeves for a Blood Donation Drive, coming together to make a tangible, life-saving impact on their local communities. 🇱🇦 Sharing the Joy (and Local Flavors!) In Cambodia, celebrations were infused with a local favorite—Durian! Beyond enjoying it in the office, Grabbers shared the joy by delivering boxes of durian to the children at Les Restaurants des Enfants (ផ្ទះបាយកុមារ), spreading smiles and sweetness. For 14 years, Grab has been more than just an app; it’s been a vehicle for economic empowerment and community upliftment across Southeast Asia. As we look back on the milestones we've achieved, we are deeply grateful to our drivers, merchants, consumers, and Grabbers who have been part of this journey. Here’s to the impact we’ve made, the culture we cherish, and the exciting future ahead as we continue to drive Southeast Asia forward together! 🚀 #Grab14 #LifeAtGrab #GrabAnniversary #DrivingSoutheastAsiaForward #CompanyCulture #Impact #4HValues

What can a would-be war reporter teach you about making it in tech? Ata Michaella switched into tech knowing almost nothing about it, but what she did have was 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆. The kind that never stops asking, and never stops learning. In a world where tools change, technology advances, and skills expire faster than ever, the one thing that has to stay constant is your willingness to walk into something you don't understand and 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝘁. #WomenInTech #CareerOpportunities #AI
