IPTIF and ERAM Skills Academy formalized a strategic partnership by signing an MoU to jointly deliver industry-aligned skilling programs in emerging technology domains.
As the first initiative under this partnership, IPTIF will deliver a 5-day Electric Vehicle (EV) training programme at its advanced EV facility for participants of ERAM's Automotive Skill Development Programme. Planned as a recurring monthly activity, the programme will provide hands-on industry exposure, practical technical skills, and pathways to employment within the automotive sector.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Prof. Dr A. Seshadri Sekhar, Director, IIT Palakkad and Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman of ERAM Holdings. The event brought together leaders from academia and industry, including Prof. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗶, IIT Palakkad; Prof. 𝗧 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻, IIT Palakkad; Dr. 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗹 𝗦, IIT Palakkad; Dr. Vijay Muralidharan, Director, IPTIF; Saishyam Narayanan, CEO, IPTIF; 𝗥𝗶𝗷𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮, COO, IPTIF; Midhu Unnithan, COO, TECHIN; 𝗕𝗶𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘀, Regional Director Eram Holdings and Jacob Thomas, CEO of Eram Power Electronics and Mr.𝗩𝗶𝗷𝗶𝘁𝗵 representing Mahindra & Mahindra.
Representatives from Mahindra's Kerala region also visited IPTIF's EV facility to explore opportunities for industry engagement and discuss potential placement avenues for programme participants, reinforcing a shared commitment to developing a future-ready workforce.
This collaboration reflects the growing importance of industry-academia partnerships in accelerating innovation, strengthening workforce development, and preparing talent for the emerging technology sectors shaping the future of mobility and energy.
