Our CEO, MAHDI ALADEL, joined industry leaders to discuss the growing opportunities for collaboration during the Saudi–Canada Investment Forum; held on the sidelines of the Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the discussion, Mahdi highlighted Aramco Ventures’ early investment in Cohere, Canada’s national AI champion, and the company’s continued collaboration with the Kingdom’s innovation ecosystem, including Aramco and HUMAIN.
Mahdi also invited attendees to join us at TecShift 2027, taking place from 11–14 January, where global startups, investors, researchers, and industry leaders will come together to tackle Grand Industrial AI Challenges through technology and innovation.

Today marks a significant milestone for Captura.
We're proud to announce the first close of our US$12.5 million Series B financing, led by Equinor Ventures, which will enable us to expand U.S. manufacturing of our bipolar membrane electrodialysis platform.
Originally developed to power our Direct Ocean Capture technology, our electrodialysis platform is now enabling solutions across multiple resource-critical industries—from direct lithium extraction and industrial water treatment to long-duration energy storage and carbon removal.
This investment comes at a pivotal time for Captura as we:
➜ Deliver our first electrodialysis stacks for the lithium extraction market
➜ Scale production at the only U.S.-based manufacturing facility producing complete bipolar membrane electrodialysis systems
➜ Continue advancing commercial deployment of Direct Ocean Capture with partners around the world
We're incredibly grateful for the confidence and continued support of our investors as we enter this next phase of commercial growth.

Our portfolio company Amogy is expanding the reach of its ammonia to hydrogen technology through a new partnership with KOWA in Japan.
The collaboration will explore how ammonia can help transport, store, and deliver low-carbon hydrogen, supporting the development of cleaner energy infrastructure and accelerating the hydrogen economy.

As Japan accelerates efforts to establish a hydrogen-based economy and advance its decarbonization objectives, ammonia is increasingly being recognized as a critical energy carrier capable of overcoming many of the logistical challenges associated with hydrogen transportation and storage.
The partnership announced today between Amogy and KOWA will help explore opportunities to deploy ammonia cracking-based hydrogen supply solutions in Japan, with an initial focus on the central Chubu region.

Congratulations to our portfolio company, Spiritus, on signing a Joint Development Agreement with aramco’s Research & Development Center to help advance next-scale Direct Air Capture (DAC).
The collaboration aims to focus on the engineering and development of a 100 tons-per-year DAC pilot system, combining Spiritus’s proprietary high-capacity sorbent technology with Aramco R&DC’s advanced process engineering and heat-integration capabilities.
Designed for the region’s ambient, solar, and grid conditions, the pilot’s objective is to represent a step toward lower-cost carbon removal solutions and aims to explore pathways toward $100 per tons DAC.
We’re proud to support Spiritus on this milestone as they work to advance practical and scalable carbon capture technologies globally.

We started Together AI four years ago because we believed AI should be open and abundantly available, not rationed by a few companies.
Today we're announcing $800M in Series C funding. Over the last year, our bookings crossed $1.2 billion and we went from serving 30 billion tokens a month to 400 trillion. Driving that growth is an entire generation of AI companies realizing they can't build sustainable businesses on closed models only and the smart companies are taking a different path: open-weights.
Companies building on open infrastructure are seeing 6x to 20x cost savings for equal or better performance. Decagon cut their inference costs sixfold after switching to Together.
We’ve spent the last four years building a cloud platform that allows companies to own their AI stacks and strategy. We’ve achieved industry leading efficiency and performance with fundamental research and engineering for inference: FlashAttention, ThunderKittens, Together.compile, MegaKernels, Adaptive Speculative Decoding and more, and created an end-to-end platform that is now powering some of the fastest growing AI companies in the world.
