Uber Irritated
This podcast it top notch. The subject matter is fascinating and the narrator Paul Cooper is fantastic. Am only 3 episodes and hooked. It makes me wish I’d paid more attention in 9th grade world history. There are only 2 things that disrupt these well researched narratives:
1. Paul Cooper is not a fan of the US and the anti-Americanism snark isn’t germane to the story.
2. The voice actors, while talented, completely destroy the flow. Would prefer Paul Cooper without the distraction of the Greek chorus.

The podcast is really good. My only critique is that for some reason, for some translations, the host decides to play the native language overlayed by an English translation. I understand that the host wants to listener to get a feel for the sounds of the place but honestly, it’s pretty distracting and difficult to listen to. I really prefer it when he doesn’t do that but the guy has been doing this for a long time and my opinion probably doesn’t matter anyway.
Great show otherwise! Definitely give it a listen!
