Now on its third year, the Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra Sports Fest continues to bring together our people through friendly competition, wellness, and camaraderie.
The Firm kicked off its first Sports Fest activity for 2026 with a Badminton Tournament held on July 9, 2026 at the Upper Deck Sports Center, Ortigas, Pasig City.
A growing tradition within the Firm, the Sports Fest reflects our continuing commitment to promoting employee wellness, strengthening relationships, and fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and work-life balance. Through initiatives like these, we create opportunities for colleagues to connect beyond the office while encouraging healthy, active lifestyles.

Mark S. Gorriceta joined fellow members of the Philippine delegation during a meeting with the Filipino community in Vancouver held in conjunction with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Official Visit to Canada. The engagement brought together Filipino-Canadian community leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and overseas Filipinos to celebrate the strong people-to-people ties that continue to underpin the relationship between the Philippines and Canada.
As Chairman and Managing Partner of Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra and Chairman of Go Digital Philippines under the Private Sector Advisory Council for Digital Infrastructure (PSAC-DI), Atty. Gorriceta expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the Filipino community in Canada, whose achievements across business, technology, healthcare, education, public service, and entrepreneurship have strengthened the reputation of Filipinos on the global stage.
The gathering also served as a platform to discuss the Philippines’ economic transformation agenda, including digitalization, innovation, artificial intelligence, and investment promotion. Atty. Gorriceta highlighted the important role that overseas Filipinos can play in advancing trade, technology collaboration, knowledge transfer, and investment opportunities between Canada and the Philippines.
