Overview and Benefits Key Features Getting Started How to Use Overview and Benefits: Hyundai Digital Key 2 is a smartphone-based car key that allows you to unlock, lock, and start your car with your phone. It is currently compatible with select Samsung, Google and Apple devices. You can also share the key with up to 3 people through Samsung Pass, Google Wallet and Apple Wallet. Primary users can control when a shared key can be used and can end its usage at any time. Availability Digital Key 2 is available for Samsung, Google, and Apple devices and can be set up using the MyHyundai with Bluelink app or by visiting owners.hyundaiusa.com. Digital Key 2 Premium is compatible with these devices. Digital Key 2 Premium is  compatiable with the following vehicle models: MY2024 Sonata Santa Fe MY2025 IONIQ 5 IONIQ 5N Tucson Santa Fe Sonata Palisade Key Features: Access and control your vehicle using your smartphone wallet from either your phone or Smart Watch Lock, unlock and start your Hyundai Digital Key 2 Touch: If your mobile device only supports NFC, you can unlock and start by tapping the door handle Set up presets for driver-seat and mirror position, climate, audio preferences and more Create, share and manage up to 3 digital keys to give friends or family access Getting Started: Enroll in Bluelink Download the MyHyundai app Select the Digital key Icon from the Home Screen or Utilities Menu Follow the in-app instructions to set up and share your Digital Key 2 Samsung and Google Devices: If the user is logged into the MyHyundai app and lands on this screen using a Samsung device, then the following instructions should be displayed: For Samsung devices supporting NFC only, tap on “Start Pairing” and follow your smartphone’s instructions by placing your device on the wireless phone charger then follow the instructions on your vehicle’s display. From the Vehicle screen, tap on Setup -> Vehicle -> Digital Key -> Smartphone Key -> My Smartphone Key, then select Save from the sub menu. If your device supports NFC & UWB, place your device on the wireless phone charger and then follow the instructions on your smartphone and vehicle’s display. Apple Devices: If the user is logged into the MyHyundai app and lands on this screen using an Apple device, then the following instructions should be displayed: Tap on “Start Pairing” and follow your smartphone’s instructions by either placing your device on the smartphone tray (NFC Only) then follow the instructions on your vehicle’s display. From the Vehicle screen, tap on Setup -> Vehicle -> Digital Key -> Smartphone Key -> My Smartphone Key, then select Save from the sub menu. Tip: For best results, remove smartphone case before placing the device on the wireless charger. Using NFC Digital Key: To use the NFC touch function of Hyundai Digital Key, simply tap your compatible device to the door handle. Once in the vehicle, place your device or tap device to wireless phone charger to start the car. You only need to do this once. The NFC Key Card can be used to unlock and start your car if your phone is not available. You can keep the NFC Key Card in your wallet or purse as a backup. How to Use: Digital Key 2 Touch: Entry Digital Key 2 Touch is available if your mobile device only supports NFC. Approach the vehicle with your phone or Smart Watch on and unlocked. Place your phone near the driver's door handle for 1 second. The doors unlock and you can now start your vehicle. Digital Key 2 Touch is compatible with the following vehicle models: MY 2023 IONIQ 6 Palisade MY2024 Palisade Elantra IONIQ 6 KONA MY2025 Santa Cruz IONIQ 6 Palisade KONA KONA EV Digital Key Sharing: Open the Wallet app on your iPhone. Tap the card that you want to share. Tap the More button (three dots) in the upper right corner. Tap Share Card. Select the contact that you want to share the card with. Tap Share. The person you shared the card with will receive an invitation in their Messages app. They can accept the invitation to add the card to their own Apple Wallet. You can revoke access to a shared card at any time by opening the Wallet app, tapping the card, tapping the More button, and then tapping Remove Share.
