The Problem: As an SEO professional for many years, I consistently faced the same frustration – endlessly clicking between pages to edit basic SEO elements across different content types. Each edit required navigating to a new page, waiting for it to load, making changes, saving, and repeating. It was inefficient and time-consuming.
The Reality: Managing SEO for websites with hundreds of pages means hours wasted on repetitive tasks. Without seeing a live preview of how search results will appear, you’re essentially optimizing blindfolded. The constant back-and-forth between pages breaks concentration and prolongs what should be simple tasks.
The Solution: I developed SEO Meta Editor Pro to solve my own daily challenges. This tool allows you to edit SEO meta information directly from your post and page lists with a live Google SERP preview. Upload the seo-meta-editor-pro directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Go to Settings > SEO Meta Editor to configure which post types to enable
Edit meta information directly from your post/page list screens
Note: At least one of the supported SEO plugins (Yoast SEO, Rank Math SEO, or All in One SEO) must be active for this plugin to function properly.

What happens when I uninstall this Plugin?
All settings for posts, pages, custom posts or products are stored according to the SEO plugin you are using. In short, uninstalling the plugin WILL NOT remove any data you have entered, and all meta and SEO settings will remain in your WordPress database. You can safely try the plugin without worrying about data loss.
Will this plugin work with my theme?
Yes, SEO Meta Editor Pro works with any properly coded WordPress theme.
Does it work in a multisite environment?
Yes, the plugin is fully compatible with WordPress multisite installations.

To be honest, that’s a missing plugin! It’s finally easy to optimize and see actual Google snippets. The best feature is being able to update all posts and pages from a single screen, without needing to open multiple tabs. It’s a huge time saver!
