Tokyo Electron Europe #CFG Team Volunteers at The Orpheus Centre through #TELFORGOOD Initiative On Wednesday 8th July, 14 members of Tokyo Electron (#TEL) Europe UK Customer Fulfilment Group (CFG) swapped desks for gardening gloves as part of our #TELFORGOOD initiative and volunteered at The Orpheus Centre. Orpheus is an inspiring education and support centre that helps students build confidence, learn key life skills and thrive—through a mix of learning, creativity and meaningful everyday experiences. Our focus was transforming the overgrown area around the Centre’s lake, clearing dense weeds, nettles, brambles and vines to help create a future allotment for students to grow fruit and vegetables, alongside a safer, accessible walking pathway for everyone to enjoy. Despite one of the hottest days of the year, the team stayed motivated and uncovered hidden features including a shed, grass roller, pergola and seating area—making all that hard work feel immediately worthwhile. A huge thank you to the Orpheus staff and students for the warm welcome, incredible dance and singing performances, and fantastic hospitality throughout the day. We’re proud of the lasting difference we’ve helped create—and grateful for a truly rewarding team day. For the 8th consecutive year, Tokyo Electron Taiwan (TEL Taiwan) has partnered with NGO "1919 Food Bank" to organize the "Food Box Collection" activity. This year, the heartwarming food boxes purchased by employees will not only be delivered to families in need across Taiwan main island, but will also expand delivery to outlying islands—so that this care can reach even farther. With summer typhoons and disasters happening frequently in Taiwan, we hope that through practical action, we can help more families. Thanks to our partners' enthusiastic participation and the active efforts of everyone involved in packing, TEL Taiwan has achieved many records this year, including: 💞More than 500 colleagues participated in purchasing 💞Over 2,600 food boxes were donated in total 💞12 partner companies joined in to deliver love 💞Over 8 years, the cumulative number of boxes ordered officially surpassed 10,000—equivalent to more than NT$5 million in donations Every item of support carries not only compassion, but also hope for the future. TEL Taiwan will continue to gather support from all sectors and work alongside the colleagues to "Deliver Dreams Together,” bringing warmth and dreams to the hands of those who need them.🫶 #TELFORGOOD

Tokyo Electron (TEL) is honored to be recognized with the “AI Semiconductor Manufacturing Solution of the Year” award in the AI Breakthrough Awards✨ TEL delivers advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies that make AI computing possible at scale. TEL’s technology enables the physical foundation of AI with solutions that power the production of high-performance, energy efficient chips required for data intensive workloads such as generative AI, large language models (LLMs) and advanced analytics. The company’s 3D Integration (3DI) technology enables the precise stacking and integration of logic and memory, improving bandwidth, reducing latency, and lowering power consumption. Manufacturable at scale, the solutions allow TEL customers to move beyond planar designs and unlock new levels of AI performance. Additionally, TEL embeds AI directly into semiconductor manufacturing. Through advanced software and AI-driven process control, TEL’s equipment helps customers improve yield, uniformity, and reliability while accelerating time to production. Steve Johansson, managing director, AI Breakthrough comments: “Rather than positioning itself as an AI software provider, Tokyo Electron puts its focus where AI progress truly begins. As AI reshapes global technology, chips are critical to modern AI accelerators. However, traditional chip scaling is reaching its physical limits. The result is AI performance increasingly dependent on advanced packaging and three dimensional architectures. TEL is enabling the hardware breakthroughs that make AI scalable, sustainable, and economically viable. By advancing 3DI and integrating AI into semiconductor manufacturing, TEL is building the AI revolution from the ground up.” In 2025, TEL opened a new office in Silicon Valley, TEL Technology & AI Design, strengthening TEL’s ability to apply AI across tool design, process development, and manufacturing optimization. ▶️ Press Release: Tokyo Electron Wins “AI Semiconductor Manufacturing Solution of the Year” Award in 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards Program https://lnkd.in/df7SJVQA

[ACE 1st Cohort: Driving Measurable Progress in Ethics & Compliance Culture] On May 18, Tokyo Electron Korea honored the first cohort of ACE (Ambassadors of Compliance and Ethics) with an appreciation plaque from the TEK Ethics Committee, marking the successful completion of a six-month program focused on strengthening our ethics and compliance culture. Tokyo Electron Korea selected the 1st “ACE(Ambassador of Compliance and Ethics)” from among employees who demonstrate a high standard of ethical awareness, helping to spread the importance of ethics and compliance across the company and naturally embedding these values among their peers. During their term, the ACE members drove several key initiatives including: - Strengthened reporting integrity: Implemented system upgrades and launched a dedicated whistleblowing site, resulting in improved accessibility and initial increases in reporting confidence during the pilot period. - Expanded local engagement: Developed region-specific compliance awareness posters and materials that increased visibility of compliance messaging in each office. - Enhanced program design: Proposed new compliance programs and practical ideas adopted during Compliance Week, contributing to more interactive and relevant compliance activities. - Built peer-to-peer momentum: Acted as on-the-ground advocates, helping normalize ethical discussions and encouraging colleagues to raise concerns responsibly. These initiatives contributed directly to raising internal awareness of ethics and compliance, improving the reliability of reporting channels, and embedding ethical practices at the local level. #TEL #TOKYOELECTRONKOREA #Compliance

Since joining Tokyo Electron (TEL), a researcher who are working on materials discovery through Materials Informatics (MI) explains what is MI and how it is attractive. Broadly, MI covers approaches that use machine learning and statistical analysis to make materials discovery and optimization more efficient. ✅ Organize experimental and simulation data to narrow down promising compositions and process conditions ✅ Includes inverse design using generative AI (a method that proposes candidates from target properties) ✅ Enables a dramatic leap in exploration speed—and makes it easier to reach candidates that are hard to find with human intuition alone ✅ Useful for speeding up materials discovery, optimizing performance and cost, and reducing environmental impact 👉 The proposals suggested by an exploration model depend on the quality of the training data 👉 With proper data preparation and evaluation processes, MI can deliver practical value ▶️ Read the full article: Accelerating Materials Informatics - Driving Efficiency and Advancement - Zeyuan Ni https://lnkd.in/gXJJWsFR

Colleagues of Tokyo Electron (#TEL) Europe Crawley volunteered at Stripey Stork on Thursday 11th June—and it was a genuinely inspiring day. Stripey Stork, based in Surrey (UK), collects and redistributes baby and children’s items to families in neighbouring areas and Croydon who are facing hardship. In 2025, they supported over 30,000 children with everyday essentials, including school uniforms, shoes, toys, and even cots and buggies. With the guidance of the charity workers, 11 of us sorted and prepared baby clothes of 6–9 months, checking labels for size and condition and packing 11 bags of clean essentials such as baby grows, vests, and T-shirts. We also bagged a large number of adult and child hygiene packs, which are especially needed during the hot summer season. During our volunteering session, we learned a lot through the charity’s stories, and being able to contribute directly to getting items ready for families made a real difference. We also enjoyed the teamwork—an incredibly productive day for everyone involved. #TELSustainability #CSR #Charity #Volunteering #communitysupport #EmprolyeeEngagement #TELFORGOOD
