Our services cover all the stages from project finding and formulation to research/study, planning, designing, and construction supervision together with capacity development for the counterparts. We are pleased to announce that one of our employees has received the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award as an Outstanding Engineer for Overseas Infrastructure Projects in FY2025. Road and Traffic Department General Manager: Akio Okazaki Project: East–West Road Rehabilitation Project (National Highway No. 70), Islamic Republic of Pakistan As the project manager, Mr. Okazaki was continuously engaged in the project from its commencement through completion, overseeing a wide range of technical disciplines including mountainous road development, bridge design, slope disaster prevention, and flood control measures. Even in regions where the procurement of materials and equipment was extremely challenging, he formulated optimal design and construction plans and took the lead in quality and schedule control, as well as in building consensus among stakeholders. Through these efforts, he made significant contributions to improving regional transportation and reducing disaster risks. His outstanding achievement in successfully leading this long-term project spanning 13 years was highly recognized, culminating in this prestigious award.

In the Nile Bridge Construction Project in the Republic of South Sudan, we received the Japan Steel Structure Association Achievement Award. (Nov. 25, 2025) CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd. has been honored with the 2025 “Japan Steel Structure Association Achievement Award” for its work on the Nile Bridge Construction Project in the Republic of South Sudan. This award is presented for achievements recognized as contributing to the advancement and dissemination of technology related to steel structures and composite structures. After three construction suspensions due to conflict and the COVID-19 pandemic, the bridge was finally completed after more than ten years. Locally, it is called the “Freedom Bridge,” reflecting hopes for peace and development in South Sudan. The award was jointly received with Dai Nippon Construction Co., Ltd. and Yokogawa Bridge Corp.

We are pleased to announce that one of our employees has been awarded the FY2024 International Activity Encouragement Award by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE). ◆ Mr. Ryuichi Oikawa, Director of the Traffic Systems Division Since 2010, Mr. Oikawa has contributed to 36 Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects across 19 countries, making significant achievements in international cooperation and development efforts in emerging nations. In particular, he played a leading role in: ・Road planning in Madagascar ・Development of the West Africa International Corridor ・Formulation of a high-standard road master plan in the Philippines Through close collaboration with local governments, he helped establish medium- to long-term development strategies and prioritize key projects. His efforts not only led to numerous successful outcomes but also promoted the global deployment of Japanese engineering expertise and strengthened the technical capacity of partner countries. In recognition of these outstanding accomplishments and with high expectations for his continued contributions abroad, he has been honored with this prestigious award.

Opening Ceremony for Teouma Bridge in Vanuatu was held on September 30, 2025. The ceremony was held attended by President Naoki Fujiwara and distinguished members Ambassador of Japan to Vanuatu, Representative of JICA Vanuatu Office and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime minister and ministers from Vanuatu side. CTII was able to construct and open the new Teouma Bridge, which was damaged by Cyclone Pam in 2015, 10 years since the Data Collection Survey on Rehabilitation of Teouma Bridge on the Ring Road in the Efate Island in 2016. During these ten years, CTII experienced the COVID-19 pandemic starting in 2020 and the earthquake on December 17, 2024.

The Project for the Expansion of Water Supply System in Ta Khmau City was completed and commemorated with an inauguration ceremony. The Project for the Expansion of Water Supply System in Ta Khmau City, Cambodia, in which CTI Engineering International Co., Ltd. participated as a consortium member and undertook detailed design of the water purification facility, was launched and commemorated by an inauguration ceremony held on 14th August, 2025. This project is one of Japan’s grant aid projects under the JICA(Japan International Cooperation Agency). The completion of the water purification facility will expand clean water access in Ta Khmau City.
