概要
We develop microsurgery assist robot.
Microsurgery is a surgical technique of small human vessel connection(anastomosis). It is a versatile and essential technique for reconstructive surgery to improve patients' quality of life(QOL). However, it requires very delicate and precise surgical tool manipulation and it hinders from technique standardization.
We develop a robotic system which replicate surgeon's input motion with minimizing hand tremor and providing motion scale down. The robot is intended to maximize surgical safety and efficacy, and also improve surgeon's learning curve. And we target to increase the number of microsurgeon, and patients to whom treated by microsurgery to improved their QOL.

I had so much productive time with Nick Welham, Scott Phillips, Matthew Weber, indutry 4.0 and JETRO team and of course, startup cohort members of the acceleration program in this great place, Michigan. Big thanks to all.
In this program, I could have interviews with surgeons and people from a hospital’s procurement dept. I want to show my respect to all the interviewees who kindly shared their time on their busy time.
I’ll be back there soon with our commercial product!

I've had the pleasure of working with Keita Shimomura of F.Med, Scott Phillips, and the teams from Centrepolis Accelerator @ Lawrence Technological University and the Industry 4.0 Accelerator. F.Med's robotic surgical acutator, integrated vision, and control will offer a leap forward for anyone practicing robotic surgery.

The heat 🔥 turns up on Microsurgery soft tissue surgical robotics with F.MED
Small is the next big thing.
To date we've seen MMI - Medical Microinstruments, Inc. Symani lead the pack with Microsurgery soft tissue robots - and hot on their heals is Microsure with their MUSA3 system. Sony showed a demonstrator... and now more coming out of Japan with F-Med and their novel system.
This is a fully integrated robot with a 4K 3D screen and proprietary 3D imaging system -  which is a standard (3D) in lap robotics.
Two instrument arms - but BOY are they very very different. It's a cyclindrical platform for a manipulator with gives a very very different approach to instrument delivery.
Add into that 5G connectivity for training - telesurgery and (interestingly) AI based cloud assistance - and well it feels like Microsurgery soft tissue robotics just got very da Vinci like.
It's incredibly interesting as this space hots up and could become a multi billion market.
I have seen a lot of investor interest here -- Any one else think this is going to be a big market?

This past week’s Innovator Summit marked an important starting point for MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific 2025 APAC Accelerator cohort.
Across three packed days, they connected with peers, partners, and alumni — exchanging ideas and building relationships that will shape their journey ahead. Through Leadership Pods, they stepped into candid, founder-to-founder conversations—reminding us that progress isn’t just about pitch decks, it’s about perspective.
The experience culminated at the MedTech World Investor Conference, where the cohort pitched live and tuned into real-time investor conversations—gaining exposure to how global funding dynamics are shaped and what it takes to stand out.

The excitement is palpable.
For the first time, all four 2025 cohorts – MedTech Innovator, MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific, U.S. Market Access, and BioTools Innovator – are together in one place, kicking-off our accelerator programs.
Over 120 medtech startups, 60+ corporate partners, 40+ alumni and many more industry experts have convened for the annual  invite-only Innovator Summit. When innovators from across the globe meet face-to-face, learnings are shared, collaborations take shape and lasting relationships are forged.
