  • We were delighted to attend the Crowe Global EMEA Tax & Legal Meeting in Prague, joining colleagues from across the Crowe network to share insights, strengthen connections, and explore the trends shaping the future of tax and legal services.   From the practical applications of AI and emerging technologies to discussions on cross-service line collaboration and international opportunities, the event highlighted the power of working as one to deliver greater value for clients.   Beyond the sessions, some of the most valuable takeaways came from connecting with colleagues, exchanging ideas, and building relationships that will support even stronger collaboration across the network.   The conference theme, "All In", was evident throughout, reflecting a shared commitment to being progressive, responsive, and collaborative in delivering the best outcomes for our  clients.   #Tax #GlobalMobility #EMEA #WeAreCrowe #WorkingAsOne

  • Eligible employees can now opt out of the MyFutureFund through the Participant Portal using their verified MyGovID. Before making a decision, it's important to understand the implications, including the loss of future employer contributions and State top-ups. Employees who opt out and remain eligible will be automatically re-enrolled after two years. Employees may also choose to suspend contributions rather than opt out. ⏰ For employees enrolled in January, the current opt-out window closes on 31 August 2026. • Last week, colleagues from across the firm gathered on the terrace of our office in Dublin for our annual Summer BBQ. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, making it the perfect setting to relax, catch up, and enjoy some great food and drinks. It's always great to step away from our desks, enjoy each other's company, and strengthen the connections that make Crowe a great place to work. Here's to a great summer and more opportunities to come together as a team! #WeAreCrowe #SummerBBQ #WorkplaceWellbeing

Crowe was delighted to attend the launch of the 2026 What Works in Communities Fund at Miesian Plaza. The What Works initiative, led by the Parenting Support Policy Unit (PSPU) in the Department of Children, Disability and Equality and funded through Dormant Accounts, plays a significant role in strengthening capacity, knowledge and quality in prevention and early intervention for children, young people and their families.   The launch event, addressed by Minister Foley and a number of excellent guest speakers including past recipients from the fund, highlighted the continued importance of coordinated, early-stage interventions in improving long-term outcomes.   Crowe have been engaged by the PSPU to undertake the evaluation of the What Works initiative, focusing on understanding and evidencing the impact it has delivered across the prevention and early intervention sector since 2019. The launch provided a valuable opportunity to gain insight at an early stage of this evaluation process and to engage with stakeholders committed to delivering measurable and lasting impact across communities in Ireland. The financial thresholds for mandatory merger notifications to the CCPC have increased from 1st July 2026, marking an important development for businesses involved in acquisitions, disposals and investment transactions. While the revised thresholds are expected to reduce the number of transactions requiring mandatory notification, competition law considerations remain a key part of effective deal planning. Early assessment of regulatory requirements can help businesses avoid delays and support a smoother transaction process. In this article, we examine what has changed, why the thresholds have been updated, and what buyers, sellers and investors should consider when planning a transaction. 👉 Read more: https://lnkd.in/eNBUWUS9 Colm Sheehan Sean B. #CorporateFinance #CCPC #TransactionAdvisory #IrishBusiness
