I was delighted to join our sustainability colleagues from across our global network in Berlin last week, to share insights, strengthen collaboration and discuss the future of our sustainability services. A key takeaway from the event was the importance of truly walking the talk by embedding sustainability across all service lines and recognising it not as a standalone agenda, but as a strategic enabler for long-term business success. As our client challenges become increasingly complex, the value of multidisciplinary teams has never been greater. I look forward to continuing to drive sustainability across our network and supporting clients wherever they are on their sustainability journey. #Sustainability #Collaboration #Resilience #ESG #ForvisMazars Forvis Mazars In Ireland
Sustainability services professionals from across our network came together in Berlin for two days to strengthen collaboration, align priorities and share perspectives on the future of our services. Bringing together colleagues from 21 countries and a broad range of disciplines, the Berlin meeting reinforced a shared view of where client demand is heading. Organisations are increasingly looking for support to strengthen resilience, manage risk, access capital, transform their operations and create long-term value in a rapidly changing environment. By bringing together expertise across advisory, consulting, legal, tax, assurance and sector teams, Forvis Mazars helps clients turn these challenges into practical business opportunities and sustainable growth. The discussions highlighted that the most effective solutions are multidisciplinary, combining insights from across service lines, sectors and geographies. As client conversations increasingly focus on business transformation, financial resilience, supply chain risk, sustainable finance and stakeholder expectations, collaboration across borders enables us to bring broader perspectives, deeper expertise and greater impact to the organisations we support. #Sustainability #BusinessTransformation #ESG

The Trump v Slaughter Supreme Court decision has sent ripples throughout the data protection world and is sending compliance teams scrambling to review their Data Transfer Impact Assessments and Supplementary Measures. The uncertainty brought about by the case is challenging to say the least, and it will be interesting to see how the powers that be react to it - letters have already been sent looking for a response. For organisations that deal with a lot of transfers to the US this poses a real challenge, not least the likely impact on the Data Privacy Framework. But what practical steps can be taken to manage transfer risk?: - work with your importers - test your measures and controls (test importers as well?) - know your data - get in touch with our privacy team Liam McKenna | Lisa Clarke | Forvis Mazars In Ireland
