  • The Number: 930 That's how many AI-skilled professionals exist across Ireland's entire hospitals and healthcare sector. 💰 The government has committed €9.25 billion to health infrastructure through 2030. 🗞️ A national AI strategy has been published. 👨⚕️ The largest digital transformation in the history of the Irish health service is in active procurement. 👩💻 And every organisation trying to deliver on that ambition is competing for the same 930 people. The question we're being asked most right now isn't "do we need AI capability?" It's "where do we find the people to build it?" We've been deep in the data and our AI & HealthTech Talent Insights report drops this week. 👀 #HealthTech #AIIreland #AIforCare #TalentInsights #FruitionGroupIreland

  • There's one topic that keeps coming up in our office, on client calls, and across every conversation we're having in the Irish market right now. HealthTech... and specifically, what AI is doing to it. Ireland has committed €9.25 billion to health infrastructure through 2030. The National EHR is in procurement. 15 new AI health companies were named this year. The government has published a national AI for Care strategy. The HSE's digital budget jumped 38% in a single year. The ambition is extraordinary and the pace of change is real. But here's the thing, 930 AI-skilled professionals are being competed for by every major health organisation in Ireland right now, and nearly one in three of them changed jobs in the last 12 months. The talent to deliver it all? That's a very different story. While we were deep in our own research, we pulled it all together. Our AI & HealthTech Talent Insights report drops next week, and the numbers will surprise you. Keep your eyes peeled. 👀 #HealthTech #AIIreland #AIforCare #FruitionGroupIreland #IrishTech #TalentInsights

  • Ireland is now the European home of two of the world's most important AI companies, with Anthropic expanding its Dublin office six-fold and OpenAI looking for a new HQ! And every engineer in Ireland just got more valuable. This month's Momentum Matters looks at what Dublin's AI gold rush means for salaries, skills, and your next career move 👇

  • Earlier this week the SLT had a full day strategy session in Manchester and so much was discussed. There's real opportunity in the sectors we recruit in - it's a pivotal time to be a tech professional! But it's not just about the market. For us as recruiters and consultants, there's a huge opportunity to be more innovative, build better relationships, use AI to source wider, market map deeper, and maximise data to be more focused. We've always invested in tech... but it's just levelling up again and again! Watch this space for a big H2, and even bigger plans for 2027!! The day wrapped up with a trip to the Crystal Maze (if our heads weren't fried enough already!!) Top scoring team of the day... not that we're competitive 👀

  • July in Irish tech. Where do we even start 📅 From Dundalk down to the Dublin docklands, the whole island is showing up this month. Cybersecurity meets healthcare, Rust meets local AI, Java meets tcube, and Python meets a very good venue in Ballsbridge. Getting out to these events is always worth it. The people you meet, the conversations you didn't expect to have, the thing someone says offhand that completely reframes a problem you've been stuck on. It adds up. ✨ A few things worth your time this month: 📍 Databricks Dublin on 1st July at Clayton Hotel on Cardiff Lane — real AI stories from Dublin Airport Authority and Kerry Group, fresh off the back of Data + AI Summit. Practical, grounded, worth the trip. 📍 AWS UG Dublin on 7th July is running a workshop on the All Builders Welcome Grant with someone who actually won it in 2025. Applications close 14th July. If you're early in your cloud journey, go. 📍 8th July is a two-for-one — Python Ireland at MongoDB HQ in Ballsbridge and Rust Dublin at tcube on O'Connell Street, same night. Pick your language, pick your room. 📍 SRE Dublin is back at Datadog on 9th July with a talk on Hive — an internal multi-agent platform taking APIs from code-ready to production-ready. Good one for platform and infrastructure folks. 📍 CHAI Dublin closes out the month on 28th July — monthly AI and chatbot meetup at tcube, with drinks at Mulligans after 🍺 See you out there 👋 Dublin Chamber | Databricks | Python Ireland | Dublin Java User Group ( aka DubJUG )

  • PwC dropped a big number this week: AI hiring in Ireland almost doubled last year. Not in Silicon Valley... Not globally... Just here in Ireland! We asked 4 of our team the same question: what's the one skill that's going to matter most on a CV in the next 12 months? Swipe to see what they said 👉 Manon Pennefather, Victoria Dinn, Nicola Byrne, Stephen Daly What would yours be? Drop it in the comments 👇 #TheTeamTake #IrelandTech #AIJobs #TechHiring #TechRecruitment

  • The Number: 84% That's how much AI user roles grew in Ireland last year. Not AI engineers, not ML specialists, but everyday roles where AI is now part of the job. PwC's 2026 AI Jobs Barometer was published this week and it found AI hiring in Ireland almost doubled in a single year. The question we're getting asked more than any other right now isn't "do we need AI skills?" It's "where do we find people who actually have them?" If you're hiring in Irish tech in 2026, this is the market you're operating in.
