Last week, Forvis Mazars Indonesia, in collaboration with Marquee Connext Serviced Offices, brought together startup founders, SME representatives, and business leaders for an insightful discussion on one of today's most critical business priorities: staying compliant in Indonesia's evolving regulatory landscape. Our experts shared practical insights across Tax, Corporate Legal, and HR, highlighting how businesses can proactively navigate regulatory changes while minimizing risk and supporting long-term growth. As regulations continue to evolve, compliance is no longer just a legal obligation, it has become a strategic business enabler. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where participants raised real-world challenges ranging from tax audits and SP2D matters, to UBO reporting, KBLI reclassification, employment practices, and other operational compliance concerns. These discussions reflected a shared commitment among businesses of all sizes to remain compliant while continuing to grow with confidence. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the meaningful conversations! #ForvisMazarsIndonesia #Compliance #Indonesia #Tax #CorporateLegal #HR #SMEs #BusinessGrowth

Last week, Forvis Mazars and our China alliance firm Zhong Shen Zhong Huan participated in a well-attended China-South Asia Expo on 16 June, followed by a full day tax seminar in Kunming, Yunnan province of China. Building on the successful Shanghai collaboration last year, the seminar attracted strong media coverage in Yunnan TV and Yunnan Daily, and over 2,000 livestream viewers. It is a major international trade and investment event hosted by China Ministry of Commerce together with the provincial government and South Asia trade authorities. The spirit One Belt, One Road calls industry leaders for regional economies integration, with Yunnan as the strategic gateway to South and Southeast Asia, creating new opportunities for cross-border professional service firms. The two days event highlights on cross-border investment opportunities, Pillar Two and recent tax developments in M&A due diligence and strategic structuring to navigate countries’ different tax frameworks – further strengthening our regional collaboration and market presence in China. During the event, our head of tax and transfer pricing Julia Y. shared her valuable insights on Indonesia investment opportunities, tax facilities, Pillar Two minimum tax filing and M&A strategic structuring for new and expanded investments. The inspiring seminar puts our commitment in supporting Chinese enterprises in their business global expansion by regional collaboration of expertise. #ForvisMazarsinIndonesia #Pillar2Indonesia #MAindonesia #DoingBusinessinIndonesia #ChinaSouthAsiaExpoYunnan #ZhongShenZhongHuan

Delighted to reflect on the successful APAC Partner Conference 2026, held in Peninsula Manila on 4–5 June, bringing together 110 Partners from across the region - a valuable opportunity to reconnect, align, and shape our collective priorities moving forward. Ahead of the main conference, we also hosted our Service Line (SL) meetings, providing a focused opportunity for deeper discussions, knowledge sharing, and alignment within each practice area. A highlight of the program was the SolarBuddy workshop, where Partners came together to assemble solar lights for children living in energy poverty. This meaningful activity not only encouraged teamwork but also reinforced our commitment to creating a positive impact beyond our business. A sincere thank you to Jacquie for hosting us so warmly in Manila, and to all speakers, Partners, and teams involved in making this event success. We look forward to continuing the momentum and turning our discussions into impact. #ForvisMazars #APACPartnerConference2026 #ForvisMazarsIndonesia
