What is Personal Intelligence in Gemini and how does it work?
With Personal Intelligence, Gemini provides more relevant and personalized responses by analyzing your prompt alongside your context. It determines if your custom instructions, past chats, or information from your connected Google apps could be helpful in formulating an answer. This additional context ensures that the information you receive is tailored to your specific interests and needs.
Who can use Personal Intelligence and where is it available?
Personal Intelligence is currently rolling out as a beta to eligible users globally, except for the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria.
Requirements: You must be over the age of 18. This beta feature is available for personal Google accounts and not for Workspace business, enterprise or education users.
Platforms: Once enabled, it works across Web, Android, and iOS.
Models: It works with all models currently available in the Gemini model picker.

Personal Intelligence currently connects with Google apps like Gmail, Photos, Search, and Youtube. In the coming months, and with your permission, Gemini will be able to draw context from even more of your Google apps and services.
