Effective June 24, 2025: Amendments to Operating Circular 8
May 23, 2025
Effective June 24, 2025, the Federal Reserve Banks will amend Operating Circular 8, Funds Transfers Through the FedNow® Service, including its appendices, to (i) address planned or unplanned interruption of the FedNow Service and (ii) modify and restructure appendix D to incorporate account activity thresholds and delineate the terms applicable to all additional processing options, account activity thresholds or the negative list specifically.
