[NEW CONTRACT ✈️] Mayotte gets ready for its future airport.
🛫 SYSTRA France has been awarded the technical project management assistance contract for the future airport in Mayotte, a French territory in the Indian Ocean.
🤝 Acting as lead partner of a consortium bringing together Aéroport de Nice, Mzé Conseil, BRL Ingénierie, Neo-Eco and Ekium, SYSTRA will support the Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile and the French Ministry of Transport from the project preparation phase through to contract finalisation.
📍 On the proposed Bouyouni M’Tsangamouji site, in Grande-Terre, the future airport would provide Mayotte with a long runway suitable for long-haul flights and support more direct connections with mainland France and international destinations.
🙌 Our teams will contribute to the technical framing of the project, preliminary analyses, continuity of service at the current Dzaoudzi-Pamandzi airport, and future tendering procedures.
🎯 The mission will run from 2026 to 2030, helping secure the next steps of a strategic infrastructure project for the territory.

[MILESTONE 💧] 🇩🇰 Ishøj puts stormwater management at the heart of climate adaptation
🌧️ The first of two stormwater basins has been handed over to Ishøj Forsyning and the Municipality of Ishøj, southwest of Copenhagen, as part of a project presented as the largest system of its kind in the Nordic region.
🤝 Since 2020, SYSTRA Danmark has supported this pilot project, helping transform technical basins into hydraulic, landscape and urban infrastructure capable of managing stormwater more effectively and improving water treatment.
🙌 Our teams worked on stormwater management, treatment performance, discharge criteria and water treatment capacity, helping test solutions adapted to the city’s future needs and upcoming regulatory requirements.
🌱 Sustainability was also embedded from the tendering stage, with a focus on optimising solutions, reusing excavated soil, reducing material transport and limiting fuel consumption.

Designed to cover the full transport modelling workflow, Quetzal helps teams test scenarios faster, compare options more transparently and support better-informed public investment decisions — from mobility planning to climate resilience.
Held every three years, the World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS) brings together researchers, engineers, policy makers and transport leaders from around the world to discuss the future of mobility.

[MILESTONE ✈️] Hong Kong International Airport unveils its newly renovated and expanded Terminal 2 to passengers.
🧳 Closed for several years to allow for major modernisation, expansion and redevelopment works, Terminal 2 is now gradually reopening in a new configuration, with passenger departure facilities in operation since 27 May.
🤝 SYSTRA has supported Airport Authority Hong Kong for more than ten years on this strategic project, contributing its expertise in traffic engineering, transport planning and passenger flow optimisation.
🙌 Our teams from SYSTRA Asia notably worked on landside arrival and departure facilities, coach parking requirements, vehicle circulation and the sizing of passenger facilities and equipment.
🎯This milestone opens a new era for the airport, supporting the rollout of its three-runway system and strengthening connections with the Greater Bay Area.

[NEW SUBSIDIARY 🎀] SYSTRA strengthens its presence in Vietnam 📍with the opening of a new subsidiary.
🚀 This new local presence gives the Group a permanent base to support the acceleration of mobility projects in a country where infrastructure needs are undergoing a major transformation.
🚇 Present in Vietnam for more than twenty years, SYSTRA has already contributed to several key projects for the country’s urban networks, notably the Hanoi metro.
🚅 SYSTRA is also involved in several high-speed rail projects in the country.

[CONTRACT 🎉] In Spain 📍, SYSTRA Ardanuy Ingeniería S.A.U. has won two contracts for the future Camp de Tarragona tramway in Catalonia.
🚊These two complementary assignments will support the delivery and commissioning of the first phase of the new network, which will be operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, the Catalan railway operator.
🎯 Located in southern Catalonia, Camp de Tarragona is one of the region’s major urban and tourist areas. The future tramway will improve connections between several key local hubs and provide a new sustainable mobility solution.
🎙️ Joan Serrano, Vice President of SYSTRA Ibérica e Hispanoamérica, said: "These two contracts illustrate SYSTRA’s added value on tramway projects where an end-to-end vision, from works through to commissioning."

[PUBLIC DEBATE 🔎] SYSTRA is supporting the European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN) during the public debate on the Future Circular Collider (FCC).
🌌 This extraordinary project aims to prepare the next major scientific infrastructure for particle physics, with a proposed 90.7-km circular underground tunnel located around 200 metres beneath Haute-Savoie, Ain and the canton of Geneva.
👉 Our mission supports the French public debate, in coordination with the consultation process organised in Switzerland, and includes:
1️⃣ Context analysis and stakeholder mapping;
2️⃣ Support in preparing clear, accessible materials for the public debate;
3️⃣ Media monitoring and support for spokespersons;
