[NEW CONTRACT ✈️] Mayotte gets ready for its future airport. 🛫 SYSTRA France has been awarded the technical project management assistance contract for the future airport in Mayotte, a French territory in the Indian Ocean. 🤝 Acting as lead partner of a consortium bringing together Aéroport de Nice, Mzé Conseil, BRL Ingénierie, Neo-Eco and Ekium, SYSTRA will support the Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile and the French Ministry of Transport from the project preparation phase through to contract finalisation. 📍 On the proposed Bouyouni M’Tsangamouji site, in Grande-Terre, the future airport would provide Mayotte with a long runway suitable for long-haul flights and support more direct connections with mainland France and international destinations. 🙌 Our teams will contribute to the technical framing of the project, preliminary analyses, continuity of service at the current Dzaoudzi-Pamandzi airport, and future tendering procedures. 🎯 The mission will run from 2026 to 2030, helping secure the next steps of a strategic infrastructure project for the territory. 👇 Read our article in the first comment. #Mayotte #Airport #Aviation #SustainableInfrastructure #ConfidenceMovesTheWorld

[MILESTONE 💧] 🇩🇰 Ishøj puts stormwater management at the heart of climate adaptation 🌧️ The first of two stormwater basins has been handed over to Ishøj Forsyning and the Municipality of Ishøj, southwest of Copenhagen, as part of a project presented as the largest system of its kind in the Nordic region. 🤝 Since 2020, SYSTRA Danmark has supported this pilot project, helping transform technical basins into hydraulic, landscape and urban infrastructure capable of managing stormwater more effectively and improving water treatment. 🙌 Our teams worked on stormwater management, treatment performance, discharge criteria and water treatment capacity, helping test solutions adapted to the city’s future needs and upcoming regulatory requirements. 🌱 Sustainability was also embedded from the tendering stage, with a focus on optimising solutions, reusing excavated soil, reducing material transport and limiting fuel consumption. 👇 Read our article in the first comment. #ClimateAdaptation #WaterManagement #SustainableInfrastructure #ConfidenceMovesTheWorld

[CONTRACT 🎉] In Spain 📍, SYSTRA Ardanuy Ingeniería S.A.U. has won two contracts for the future Camp de Tarragona tramway in Catalonia. 🚊These two complementary assignments will support the delivery and commissioning of the first phase of the new network, which will be operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, the Catalan railway operator. 🎯 Located in southern Catalonia, Camp de Tarragona is one of the region’s major urban and tourist areas.
