How can organizations continue to electrify when grid capacity is limited? When Elektro Internationaal B.V. - control panels & distribution boards set out to expand its facility with EV charging infrastructure, grid congestion presented a significant challenge. Rather than waiting for additional capacity, the company partnered with Schneider Electric to develop an innovative on-site energy architecture. By implementing both an AC microgrid and a hybrid AC/DC microgrid, Elektro Internationaal created a real-world environment to evaluate different approaches to energy distribution and management. The comparison highlighted the potential of hybrid AC/DC systems to improve efficiency, reduce copper usage and costs, and make better use of available power. Today, Elektro Internationaal is not only realizing these advantages at its own facility. As a Schneider Electric panel builder partner, the company is also leveraging its firsthand experience and insights to help customers address similar challenges related to electrification, decarbonization and grid congestion. This project demonstrates how collaboration and innovation can transform energy constraints into opportunities for growth and sustainability. Read the full customer story: 🔗 http://spr.ly/6048BEZ6la
