What role can hospitality play in protecting the oceans? Over the past few weeks, we've shared how Novotel is reducing its environmental impact across our hotels, from rethinking everyday operations and food choices to training our teams and engaging our guests. But our commitment goes beyond our hotels. Together with WWF-France, we're also supporting marine conservation projects that help protect ecosystems, advance scientific research and empower local communities around the world. Today, that commitment comes to life through tangible action: 🌿 41 low-impact buoys installed to help protect Posidonia seagrass meadows in the Mediterranean 🎣 14 abandoned fishing nets removed from the Mediterranean Sea through WWF's science-led ghost gear programme 🐋 87 fin whales identified during a single WWF Blue Panda research mission 🐢 14 Youth Ambassadors trained to help protect sea turtles and raise ocean awareness across the Guiana Shield. Every action contributes to a larger collective impact, helping support healthier oceans for generations to come. But the future of hospitality also depends on something much bigger: the health of the ecosystems that make travel possible in the first place. 🌊 Today, alongside WWF-France, Novotel is releasing its 2026 Ocean Impact Report, sharing how ocean awareness is being translated into concrete operational change across more than 600 hotels worldwide. Some highlights from this year:  ♻️ 92% of Novotel hotels now compliant with Accor’s single-use plastic policy  🌱 50% of hotels offering at least 25% plant-forward menus  🐟 41% of hotels removing vulnerable seafood species from menus  🏨 73% of the Novotel network eco-certified by a third party Because supporting the future of travel also means helping reduce the pressures placed on the ocean. Novotel at the 2026 Dream Tournament: From Pitch to Plate   Last week, Novotel Hotels proudly joined ALL Accor and Paris Saint-Germain for the 2026 Dream Tournament hosted at the Parc des Princes in Paris, bringing members of ALL Accor from around the world closer to the game than ever before, walking through the tunnel, stepping into the locker room, and playing alongside #PSGLegends.   For Novotel, the experience went further. #PSGLegend Javier Pastore led Team Novotel on the pitch, joined by Alfie Steiner who not only played in the team, but also brought our longevity vision to life beyond the game.   Because at Novotel, performance and wellbeing go hand in hand.
