Our teams from Australia to Mexico, and many locations in between, have been coming together for the World Cup through watch parties, table foosball and quiz challenges, cheering on teams from around the world ⚽🌍 In the US, our teams took the excitement beyond the screen by serving as Waste Warriors at a World Cup watch party at Sporting Kansas City’s stadium, Sporting Park. They helped fans to sort their sustainable packaging into bins designated for composting and recycling while enjoying the atmosphere! Small changes can add up to a big impact ♻️💧 At our Huhtamaki UK & Ireland site in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, teams have been finding new ways to reduce waste, conserve water, and make better use of resources across operations. The results include a reduction in water consumption since 2021, more material being recovered and reused, and the introduction of the industry's first egg carton labels made from 100% recycled paper. Huhtamaki Egypt Welcomed Egypt’s Minister of Labor We were honored to welcome Egypt's Minister of Labor, Mr. Hassan Radad, to Huhtamaki Egypt for a special visit focused on inclusion, skills development, and the future workforce. During the visit, the Minister toured our Flexible Packaging production facilities, met with employees, and joined a session recognizing colleagues with disabilities, highlighting the importance of creating opportunities and an inclusive workplace for all. The visit also marked the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Labor and Huhtamaki Egypt to support the training and preparation of Egyptian youth for the labor market.
