ICEYE has been included in the #MAD30 European Tech Challengers by Maddyness and BNP Paribas, a ranking of European companies building sovereign alternatives in sectors that matter for the continent.
Europe cannot rely on technology built elsewhere to secure itself. In our domain, that means sovereign space intelligence — the ability to see what's happening, in any weather, day or night, under sovereign control.
Seven European governments have already procured sovereign satellite systems from ICEYE, and we're scaling that across the continent.

❤️ During a single ascending pass over Australia, one of our SAR satellites captured a heart shape over the southeast coast, formed from a sequence of 20 precisely timed images.
In that same pass, the satellite collected 13 more images across Australia — 33 in total — through a combination of physical maneuvering, agile electronic beam steering, and optimized acquisition planning.
It's a small glimpse into what rapid retasking really looks like: shaping imaging activities across time and space, dynamically, without giving up coverage.
As ICEYE's Shikha Sharma puts it, "Combine physical maneuvering with electronic beam steering, add smart acquisition and constellation planning, and capturing hundreds of images per orbit with a single satellite becomes straightforward. Scale that across a fleet, and we’re moving into a world of thousands of images per day – and a radically new level of temporal insight for our customers."

This week, ICEYE satellites are monitoring active flood and wildfire events across the US and Canada, from flooding in Ohio Valley and Manitoba to wildfires burning across Colorado, Idaho, and British Columbia.

We were proud to participate in the launch of the MAPA (Museu Aeroespacial Paulista) project in São Paulo, Brazil. Scheduled to open in 2027, MAPA will become one of the world's five largest military aviation museums, preserving Brazil's aviation heritage and inspiring future generations.
As part of the event, ICEYE showcased a prototype of our Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite and highlighted how space-based intelligence supports governments and institutions with timely information for defense, environmental monitoring and disaster response.
SAR technology enables continuous Earth observation, day or night, through clouds, smoke and rain, helping decision-makers respond to complex challenges with greater speed and confidence.
Projects like MAPA connect the history of aviation with the technologies shaping its future, bringing the value of space-based intelligence closer to society.
