🛩️⚡No noise, no emissions and great technical capabilities! These are the facts and benefits of electric aviation which the currently most advanced electric aircraft of Europe, the Electra Trainer, is proving during its historic North Circuit Aerial Tour flight of 5,600 km from southern Germany to Northern Finland and back.
The North Circuit tour marks the first time a certified electric aircraft has crossed an open sea. The goal is to demonstrate in practice that electric flight is suitable even for long distances.
This week Elektra Trainer, owned by Oulu University of Applied Sciences – Oamk and built by Elektra Solar GmbH, made a stop at Finnish Lakeland Lappeenranta Airport in southeastern Finland.
The visit was organized by LUT University and EMRC aviation, as part of the electric mobility research done at the Electric Mobility Research Center, EMRC, which is a unique, multidisciplinary research-and-collaboration platform co-founded by LUT University and Kempower.

Two great days so far at the Australasia Bus & Coach Expo in Sydney!⚡🚌
One thing that has really stood out throughout the event is how much the conversation around fleet electrification has evolved.
Instead of asking if electric buses are the future, operators and industry partners are increasingly focused on how to make the transition successful. From charging strategies and depot planning to maximising uptime and preparing for larger electric fleets, the discussions have been practical, detailed and forward looking. 👏🏼

Complimenti al GRUPPO SAPIR, protagonista di un importante percorso di innovazione nel Porto di Ravenna ⚓ , che sta portando la transizione energetica anche nelle attività più impegnative di movimentazione delle rinfuse. SAPIR gestisce oltre 3 milioni di tonnellate di materiali alla rinfusa ogni anno e rappresenta un punto di riferimento per la logistica portuale italiana.
🚜 La sostituzione delle tradizionali pale gommate endotermiche con mezzi completamente elettrici dimostra come la decarbonizzazione possa coinvolgere anche le applicazioni heavy-duty, senza compromessi su produttività, disponibilità operativa e performance.
In questo contesto, l'infrastruttura di ricarica gioca un ruolo fondamentale. La soluzione Kempower è stata scelta non solo per rispondere alle esigenze attuali del sito, ma soprattutto per accompagnarne la crescita nel tempo grazie a una piattaforma progettata per essere scalabile sia in termini di potenza disponibile sia di numero di punti di ricarica.
La configurazione adottata è basata su una Power Unit da 600 kW, con architettura espandibile e possibilità di supportare ulteriori satelliti e nuovi veicoli elettrici nel futuro.
Questa è probabilmente la lezione più importante che arriva da progetti come quello di SAPIR: l'elettrificazione non significa semplicemente sostituire un mezzo diesel con uno elettrico, ma costruire oggi un'infrastruttura capace di supportare l'evoluzione operativa dei prossimi anni.

⚡ Più punti di ricarica.
📈 Più potenza quando serve.
🚢 Stessa operatività, con una visione sostenibile e di lungo periodo.

⚡Supplying our Kempower Mega Satellites to Käppeli Logistik for charging Scania trucks in Sargans, Switzerland
⚡Launching a series of Eichrecht-certified solutions, specifically designed for the German and Austrian markets.
Kempower’s Chief Sales Officer Mathias Wiklund said: “The DACH region is a key market for us and our strategic office location in Düsseldorf will allow us to better serve our local customers and partners as we continue to grow.”

Exciting news from Hawaii! 🌴 Kempower, Aloha Charge, and the Māʻalaea Triangle Association (MTA) are teaming up to bring state of the art DC fast charging to Māʻalaea, Hawaii, opening late September.
Located near a key highway junction, this new site will bring reliable charging to an island in need of more fast charging infrastructure to support its growing number of EVs. With four Kempower Satellites on site, drivers will be able to charge regardless of vehicle make or model, thanks to support for CCS1, NACS, and CHAdeMO.
"Māʻalaea Triangle Association is excited to partner with Kempower to provide this state of the art EV charging station in Māʻalaea," said Tapani Vuori, MTA board member and General Manager of the nearby Maui Ocean Center. "This is part of our long term strategy to support the green transition and help contribute to cleaner, healthier communities."
Jim Burness, founder and CEO of Aloha Charge and parent company National Car Charging, added: "Hawaii's EV charging needs are unique, and strategic locations like Māʻalaea are essential to building a more reliable, accessible, and driver friendly charging network."
As Hawaii continues to electrify, reliable infrastructure will be key. Built for high uptime and designed to give drivers the power they need, this site is set up to keep drivers coming back.

Kempower has started deliveries of its new Mega Satellite Flex dispenser — combining CCS and MCS connectors in a single unit, built to bridge today's EV charging with tomorrow's megawatt demands.

When Sowatt Solutions set out to bring high-power public charging to the Intermarché site in Ambérieu-en-Bugey, the brief was clear: serve peak retail traffic without disrupting parking flow, and make the economics work for a CPO over the long term.
Since going live in August 2025, the numbers speak for themselves:
⚡ 8 x 400 kW charging points
🔌 8 Kempower Satellites powered by 2 Kempower Power Units
📊 ~30 MWh delivered per month, consistently
🚗 Built-in redundancy — a single module fault doesn't take the site down
The architecture's dynamic power sharing means drivers get the fastest charge available at any moment, while Sowatt avoids stranded capacity on the grid. For Intermarché, the hub has become more than an amenity: it's a draw, pulling in transit drivers and local residents who weren't otherwise store customers.

PowerUp America has opened its first high-performance DC fast charging site in Kentucky, marking an important milestone in expanding EV charging access across the Southeast United States.
Located in Manchester, the new site features four Kempower Flex Satellites with both NACS and CCS1 connectors, offering up to 800 kW of available charging power. Designed with covered charging areas and pull-through accessibility, the site helps create a charging experience that brings drivers back.
“Reliable, user-friendly charging infrastructure plays an important role in making EV ownership accessible for more drivers,” said Kempower North America President Monil Malhotra.
"This site represents far more than another place to charge. It demonstrates what EV infrastructure should look like when reliability, safety, and the driver experience come first," said Joshua Turner, CEO of PowerUp America.
This is the first of 12 sites being delivered through our partnership with PowerUp America, with another 11 locations currently under development across the state of Georgia. Together, we're helping build reliable charging infrastructure for communities across the Southeast United States.
