Who are the GFGs for?
Google Higher Ed Faculty Groups (GFGs) are for higher education instructional faculty, instructional designers, and professional developers interested in building community, sharing practices, and re-designing their practices to better fit an AI-enabled world.
What is required to join the GFGs?
The GFGs are open communities, welcoming all. No pre-requisites, nominations, or certifications are required.
How much does it cost to join the GFGs?
GFGs and their programming are free of charge and open.
How can I find my GFGs?
First join the larger Google Higher Education Community. Once there, you can find GFGs aligned to your interests and role within your institution or higher education.
What if I’m worried I’m not literate in the languages of other GFG members?
The Google Higher Education Community and the GFGs are global-first spaces. We utilize auto-translating software to ensure you can access content created by users writing in other languages and that they can understand the content you create and post.
