How to get Free Data with Opera Mini

Want to go online without buying or using your own data? With Opera Mini, you can get free data every day in certain countries. Here’s how it works.
What you need to do
Download or update Opera Mini on your phone (make sure you have the latest version).
Use a supported mobile network in your country (see the list below).
Make sure mobile data on your phone is on – this is very important, because without it free data won’t work.
Open Opera Mini and start browsing – your free data will kick in automatically when you use the app!
Once your free data has been used up, you will automatically switch to your own data plan. If you don’t have any airtime or data in your SIM card, you will go offline. 
If you have the latest version of Opera Mini and use a supported network, you’ll see a message on your home screen that says “Free data: Active.” This means you get free data every day!
The offer is designed to help you stay connected without using your own data. You can use your free data to enjoy popular Opera Mini features, such as Football scores and free built-in AI assistant. 
Note: Free data only covers regular browsing. It doesn’t apply to streaming videos, large downloads, or other heavy data-use activities. 
Tips to make the most of it
Set Opera Mini as your default browser so you can use your free data every day.
Keep Opera Mini updated so you always get the latest features and free data.
Where is free data available?
Free daily browsing is currently available in these countries and networks:
Nigeria – MTN and Airtel
South Africa – MTN
Kenya – Safaricom and Airtel
Ghana – MTN
Ethiopia – Safaricom
Tanzania – Airtel
If you’re in one of the mentioned countries and on a supported mobile network, using Opera Mini is a great way to get some free data every day. Just update the app and you’re good to go.
