Engineers Australia has previously reported that just 16% of professional engineers in Australia are women. At OBT, 35% of our technical team and 50% of our Board are women. Statistics are nice, but this isn't about meeting a target. It's about having talented people around the table, in the field, and working with clients every day. Thank you to the women across our business for the knowledge, leadership and dedication you bring to our team and our projects. #INWED2026 #WomenInEngineering 57 1 Comment Like Comment Share O'Brien Traffic 2,239 followers 1mo Report this post 🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟰𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗢’𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴 It's safe to say that our reports have changed since 1986. 🙂 As part of this throwback, take a look at some of our report covers over the years. We still have our very first report from October 1986! #OBrienTraffic40Years 35 Like Comment Share O'Brien Traffic 2,239 followers 2mo Report this post We were proud to sponsor our 4th ITE Australia & New Zealand (ITE-ANZ) Annual Breakfast yesterday! ITE Australia & New Zealand (ITE-ANZ) 1,522 followers 2mo Thankyou to everyone who joined us for the ITE-ANZ Annual Breakfast this morning! We thank Jonathan Spear from Infrastructure Victoria for an excellent overview of Victoria's Infrastructure Strategy - and also being available to answer questions. We also congratulate Sophia Cibei from UNSW who received the ITE-ANZ Undergraduate Award. It was a packed agenda where we heard about Young ITE-ANZ, Transport Engineers at Monash - TEM, the Austraffic World Wide Learning Opportunity and we took time to remember two important ITE-ANZ figures who we lost this year - Lindsay Oxlad and Ken Hall. Thankyou to O'Brien Traffic for sponsoring the morning. We'll see you at our next event! +6 9 Like Comment Share O'Brien Traffic reposted this ITE Australia & New Zealand (ITE-ANZ) 1,522 followers 2mo Report this post 𝗜𝗧𝗘-𝗔𝗡𝗭 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 🍳 Don’t miss your chance to attend the ITE-ANZ Annual Breakfast. The work formed part of Austroads Guide to Road Design Part 6A: Paths for Walking and Cycling We dug through our archives, found an electronic version, reformatted it from the original WordPerfect files, and sent it across. It is a good reminder that foundational technical work has a long shelf life, sometimes longer than the format it was saved in! We are glad we could help, and quietly pleased the work is still being used. #TrafficEngineering #CyclingInfrastructure #Austroads #TransportPlanning 19 Like Comment Share O'Brien Traffic 2,239 followers 4mo Report this post Last night our Managing Director, Matt Harridge unpacked some of the Traffic and Transport Engineering decisions that can make or break land development with (ALDE) Association of Land Development Engineers #TrafficEngineering #TransportPlanning #LandDevelopment (ALDE) Association of Land Development Engineers 1,661 followers 4mo ✅ What a great night at the ALDE Members Forum! It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout and, more importantly, such an engaged group of members keen to learn, ask questions, and share experiences. The energy in the room really reinforced the value of getting together and learning from those working at the coalface of our industry. 🚆 A big highlight was hearing from McLeod Rail, who shared valuable insights into navigating the complexities of working with rail authorities. As a specialist consulting firm, they demonstrated how they support engineers and developers across a wide variety of projects, helping to streamline approvals, manage interfaces with rail authorities, and ultimately reduce risk and delays on projects that interact with rail corridors. 🚦We also heard from O'Brien Traffic, who delivered a powerful reminder of how critical traffic design is at the subdivision level. Their discussion highlighted how poor traffic flow and access design can have real, everyday impacts, including adding up to 20 minutes a day for residents simply trying to exit their estate. It was a timely reminder that good engineering design isn’t just about compliance, but about creating better outcomes for the communities we help shape. 🙌 Most of all, it was great to see members actively engaged, asking thoughtful questions, and genuinely excited to take new ideas back into their own projects. This is exactly what the ALDE forum series is about, practical learning, shared experience, and strengthening our professional community. Thanks to everyone who came along and contributed to such a positive night. We’re already looking forward to the next Members Forum! 10 Like Comment Share Join now to see what you are missing Find people you know at O'Brien Traffic Browse recommended jobs for you View all updates, news, and articles Join now Similar pages Trafficworks Pty Ltd Civil Engineering Traffix Group Civil Engineering MELBOURNE, VIC RedSquare Traffic Civil Engineering South Yarra, Victoria Quantum Traffic Pty Ltd Civil Engineering Melbourne , Victoria SALT3 Civil Engineering Melbourne, VIC Ratio Consultants Architecture and Planning Cremorne, Victoria onemilegrid Civil Engineering Collingwood, Victoria Transport Professionals Association Transportation Programs Brisbane, Queensland Road Solutions Pty Ltd Civil Engineering Altus Traffic Australia Public Safety Port Melbourne, Victoria Show more similar pages Show fewer similar pages Browse jobs Project Manager jobs 8,610 open jobs Analyst jobs 14,217 open jobs More searches More searches Engineer jobs Site Engineer jobs Junior Civil Engineer jobs Junior Engineer jobs LinkedIn © 2026 About Accessibility User Agreement Privacy Policy Your California Privacy Choices Cookie Policy Copyright Policy Brand Policy Guest Controls Community Guidelines (Chinese (Traditional)) Language Agree & Join LinkedIn By clicking Continue to join or sign in, you agree to LinkedIn’s User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
