Neill Phillips 5-year anniversary. Neill has been part of the journey since before Modus Transport and Traffic Engineering was even Modus. He’s seen the business evolve, supported us through change and has been a constant presence every step of the way. It’s fair to say he’s become part of the furniture. Over the years, Neill has built strong relationships with our clients and team, shared his knowledge generously and always stepped up when needed. His commitment, loyalty and willingness to back the business have played an important role in getting us to where we are today. Neill, thank you for everything you’ve contributed over the past five years. We genuinely appreciate your dedication and look forward to many more years working together. Happy 5-year anniversary, Neill! 21 4 Comments Like Comment Share Modus Transport and Traffic Engineering 2,115 followers 2w Report this post We're proud to announce that Modus has a new Head Office in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. The time was right. Our work has been growing steadily across Australia, with more clients coming to us and bigger projects landing on the desk, and the team has grown with it. Modus was engaged to provide traffic engineering services for a proposed medical centre in Rozelle, NSW, accessed via a narrow 3.5m rear laneway with limited ability to accommodate Council parking requirements. Through site-specific traffic engineering, DA approval was achieved with minimal impact to the design. Swipe to see how. Austroads released updated editions of the AGTTM in late May 2026, covering Parts 1 through 7, Part 9 and Part 10. The practical risk is not that every project needs to be redesigned. It is that documentation prepared before the update may continue to be reused without being checked against the current guidance. Traffic Management Designers should confirm that the TMPs and TGSs they prepare, review or update remain suitable for the specific works and align with the latest guidance. We have put together a plain-English breakdown of what changed, which parts matter most, and what builders, project managers and traffic management companies in VIC and SA should be reviewing now. Today’s National Road Safety Week theme is Plan your journey. Planning ahead can help reduce rushed decisions, fatigue, distraction and last-minute manoeuvres. It also matters in the way we plan access to developments, construction sites, loading areas and car parks. When vehicle movements, pedestrian paths and loading requirements are considered early, the result is usually safer and more practical for everyone using the space. Road safety is not just about reacting well. It is about setting people up to make safer choices. …more 4 Like Comment Share Modus Transport and Traffic Engineering 2,115 followers 2mo Edited Report this post “This is a perfect example of why it is so critical to have a traffic engineer on board for even a small unit project. We have battled for months and months on other projects without your assistance, but this one sailed through, even though it was a complex, higher-order road. Thank you.” That was the client feedback on a seven-townhouse development in Caloundra, where Modus provided traffic engineering support in response to a Sunshine Coast Council RFI. The project involved access, servicing, parking design and swept path considerations. The kinds of items that can quickly become approval hurdles without the right technical input. But roads change. Intersections change. Speed environments change. Work zones appear. New line marking, signage, shared paths and access arrangements can all affect how people should move through a space. Today’s National Road Safety Week theme is a practical one: refresh your road rules knowledge. It is a timely reminder for drivers, riders, pedestrians and site operators to pause and check the rules that apply to the environments they use every day. …more 4 Like Comment Share Modus Transport and Traffic Engineering 2,115 followers 2mo Report this post Road safety is not only about rules. It is also about judgement, patience and how we respond to the people around us. Today’s National Road Safety Week theme is Travel the road to kindness. That can look simple: giving a pedestrian time to cross, leaving space for a cyclist, slowing down near workers, or letting another vehicle merge without turning it into a contest. In traffic engineering, we often talk about systems, layouts and controls. But road environments are still shared by people making thousands of small decisions every day. A safer road culture depends on those decisions. …more 5 Like Comment Share Join now to see what you are missing Find people you know at Modus Transport and Traffic Engineering Browse recommended jobs for you View all updates, news, and articles Join now Similar pages Altus Traffic Australia Public Safety Port Melbourne, Victoria PTT Traffic & Transport Engineering Civil Engineering Spring Hill, QLD Velocity Traffic Engineering Civil Engineering Brisbane, QLD Point8 Pty Ltd Civil Engineering Stones Corner, Queensland Waymaker Traffic Engineering Engineering Services Stantec Business Consulting and Services Edmonton, Alberta O'Brien Traffic Civil Engineering Hawthorn East, VIC GHD Civil Engineering Bitzios Consulting Civil Engineering Robina, Queensland Burchills Engineering Solutions Civil Engineering South East Queensland, Queensland Show more similar pages Show fewer similar pages Browse jobs Engineer jobs 12,824 open jobs Director jobs 28,989 open jobs Sales Account Manager jobs 2,973 open jobs More searches More searches Accounts Payable Officer jobs LinkedIn © 2026 About Accessibility User Agreement Privacy Policy Your California Privacy Choices Cookie Policy Copyright Policy Brand Policy Guest Controls Community Guidelines (Chinese (Traditional)) Language Agree & Join LinkedIn By clicking Continue to join or sign in, you agree to LinkedIn’s User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
