The Seattle Seahawks have named Accenture their first-ever Global Partner. Together, we’re using technology, data and AI to help power the club’s next chapter — from streamlining operations and enhancing the fan experience to supporting growth far beyond the Pacific Northwest. And while this partnership has a global vision, it starts locally. Alongside the Seahawks, we'll invest in programs that create opportunity across the Seattle community while helping shape what's next for football around the world. https://accntu.re/4oL10rU [Image Description: Aerial view of a packed football stadium with a navy overlay. • Don’t miss: Stacy Pence on The Business Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) unpacking Sovereign AI—highlighting the balance between innovation and risk, and why Australia must plan for secure, resilient access to AI. Watch it here: https://lnkd.in/eqzkyXrZ

It was a pleasure to join Alicia Barry on Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News yesterday to discuss one of the most important technology conversations facing Australia today: sovereign AI. Australia has benefited enormously from global technology innovation, and continued investment from hyperscalers like Microsoft, Google, Oracle and AWS is critical to our future. At the same time, as AI becomes embedded in government, healthcare and financial services, we need to build greater sovereign capability for our most sensitive data and critical services. This isn't about choosing between global technology and Australian innovation—it's about finding the right balance. With recent APRA guidance highlighting the need for stronger AI governance and resilience, and growing awareness of concentration risk in AI platforms, now is the time to invest in Australia's AI ecosystem alongside our global partnerships. I'm optimistic about what lies ahead. Australia has world-class talent, innovative AI startups and increasing investment in sovereign AI. Let's keep the momentum going and work together to build an AI future that is innovative, secure and distinctly Australian. Thank you again to Alicia Barry and the ABC News team for the opportunity to discuss such an important topic.
